Lori’s husband’s 40th birthday wine bottle in a crate cake

Lori’s husband is a wine lover, so she thought it would be appropriate for us to create a wine bottle and crate cake to celebrate her husband’s 40th birthday.

We created a mahogany wood grained wine box which reads “COYNE, 1973 Vintage”. The create holds a red wine bottle created from poured sugar surrounded by fondant straw raffia. Clusters of grapes and a chunk of provolone cheese round out the decorations.

The entire cake included alternating vanilla and chocolate with cannoli filling. We delivered the cake to the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ.

Lori called us and left us the following message:

You guys did a cake for my husband’s 40th that was unbelievable. I got so many compliments – it was beautiful!

We are excited to partner with her for her son’s upcoming birthday!
