Whimsical Topsy Turvy Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Bat Mitzvah Cakes, Novelty Cakes, Topsy Turvy Cakes on Friday, March 2nd, 2007.This whimsical topsy turvy cake was created for a Bat Mitzvah. All three layers are chocolate cake with vanilla filling.

We also created 185 matching cookies for the party

We received some wonderful feedback from our client about this cake:
Now that I’ve calmed down a bit, I just wanted to tell you how incredible the cookies and cake were. The cookies looked (and tasted) fabulous, and the cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. When I get some pictures from my photographer I will definitely e-mail them to you to see – the florist did a great job on the place card table where the cookies were and the cake looked so pretty on the table with the
candles.Thanks again for everything.

The whimsical topsy turvy cake is so cool!!! Could this be done as a grooms cake or even a wedding cake without seeming out of context? We are planning a shore wedding (hopefully) business casual to semi formal dress for guests which include about 10 children under age 10. My fiance is a real lover of Alice in Wonderland and this so reminds me of the mad hatter’s tea party esp. with the cookies. We both want our wedding to be unique and fun for everyone and this just seems to me to fit the bill.
