Can you explain to me what “filling” means? Is it just a layer under the fondant/buttercream layer or is there a hollow section in the cake with actual filling? I see it often in wedding cake descriptions and am not quite sure how it works.

Hi Serenity,
All our cakes are first covered in buttercream (i.e. filling) and then we put the rolled fondant on top. You can read more about it here.
Thanks for your comment.
