the colour combo is gorgeous!
Your cakes are so phenomenal, i just looked through all 59 pages of your cakes/cookies/cupcakes and was completely blown away. I’m an aspiring pastry chef, and one day i hope to own my own bakery. You’re truly an inspiration.
The colors are wonderful! The whole idea is awesome, very girly and 16-ish! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Anna – glad we could help inspire you
Ariane & Tandoori – thanks for the compliments

Thanks Mel – maybe one day we’ll figure out how to ship our cakes…
I DESPERATLEY want this cake, or any of the other Topsy Turvy 16th cakes for my birthday! It’s so sad it cant happen!
Wow, Anne I am absolutely in awe of your cake creations – especially the Topsy Turvy cakes. I was recently at a family wedding in the uk and the bride and groom had a ‘topsy turvy’ wedding cake, first time I have ever seen one, hence my internet search to find out more and this is how I find your wonderful site.
I am an amateur cake maker myself and would love to make my sister a topsy turvy cake for her upcoming 50th birthday party. If you don’t mind me asking are the cakes secured in any way or does gravity hold the cakes steady?
One thing is for sure, your work truly is an inspiration!
Hi June – thanks for your comments. We use dowels to support our topsy turvy cakes. Thanks for your comment!

are there any places that create your designs where i live??
Hi Reema – congrats on your graduation. We recommend you take a look at the Cake Girls in Chicago. Mary Maher is extremely talented – you may have seen her on some of the Food Network cake challenges. She is currently competing in the Food Network All-stars challenge.

Hello Anne,
I just wanted to say WOW, what talent and creativity you have
Not only do your cakes sound fabulous they are beautiful, impeccable and gorgeous. On my blog site I feature gorgeous desserts every now and then and was very excited to come across a picture of one of your creations; it is up on my site and my readers are sure to love it as much as I do. I picked the pink and yellow Topsy Turvy Sweet 16 cake. Here is a link to the post: http://www.pinksugardesserts.com/

P.S. I am a former NCAA gymnast and LOVE the gymnastics cake you made. I started the sport around the age of three and would have adored a cake like that., even now at 23! I hope that little girl had a magical 4th birthday thanks to you!
Hi Rhiannon – thanks for the link and comment!
