Topsy Turvy Quinceañera Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Topsy Turvy Cakes on Friday, June 15th, 2007.Our first Quinceañera cake! The Quinceañera (i.e Sweet 15) marks the 15th birthday of a women and signifies her transition from childhood to womanhood. Its closest equivalent in the English speaking world is the Sweet 16. More info is available on Wikipedia.
The cake has two layers of chocolate filled with peanut butter and two layers of vanilla filled with hazelnut. We created the cake to match the ethereal theme of the party.
