Topsy Turvy Sweet 16 Cake

Back in 2008, we created a sweet 16 cake for this client’s daughter. Now, nearly three years later, we were honored they came back to us for their other daughter’s sweet 16 party.

This three tier topsy turvy cake is topped with a scripted F in metallic silver with clear glitter. Light pink fondant covers all tiers with a quilted pattern on the top and bottom tiers. We piped silver pearls around the base of each tier and included flowers to match the birthday girl’s dress.

Flavors and fillings included vanilla with hazelnut and chocolate buttercream, chocolate with vanilla, chocolate and oreos buttercream and pink velvet with marshmallow and vanilla buttercream. The party took place at the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ.
