Topsy Turvy Happy Birthday Cake (173)
This 3-tier Topsy Turvy white cake with Oreo’s and cream filling was created for a party celebrating my grandmother’s 90th birthday (Nana), my great uncle’s 90th birthday (Uncle Joe) and my cousin’s 30th birthday (Emily). My family asked me if I had been drinking when I made this one….It’s supposed to be topsy turvy! The cake was covered in fondant, and decorated with a sugar paste bow and stars. Happy Birthday Nan, Uncle Joe and Emily! Hope you enjoyed the cake!

This may seem like a goofy question but how do you serve this type of a cake? Do you separate the layers and then serve or cut from the tower? Your cakes look beautiful!
Thanks!
Hi Jennifer – Yes – you separate the layers and cut them like a regular cake. Read this for more information.
