Topsy Turvy Happy Birthday Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Happy Birthday Cakes, Topsy Turvy Cakes on Sunday, November 12th, 2006.This 3-tier Topsy Turvy white cake with Oreo’s and cream filling was created for a party celebrating my grandmother’s 90th birthday (Nana), my great uncle’s 90th birthday (Uncle Joe) and my cousin’s 30th birthday (Emily). My family asked me if I had been drinking when I made this one….It’s supposed to be topsy turvy! The cake was covered in fondant, and decorated with a sugar paste bow and stars. Happy Birthday Nan, Uncle Joe and Emily! Hope you enjoyed the cake!

Kelli - Your wish could come true if you know a good engineer who could figure out how to package these cakes so they aren’t harmed during shipment.

i’m a french pastry chef and i’m very impressed by your work !! i have a few questions, it would be great for you to answer !!
1* what do you use to finish the cake ? almond paste ?
2* perhaps you can not answer to this one, but is this a special technic to build the topsey turvey cake ? i ‘d love to try to make one for my sister’s birthday …

I found this site when i was google-ing pictures of wedding cakes and i am sooooooo inspired by all of your cakes. I looked at one wedding cake that brought tears to my eyes. Its just amazing to picture at my wedding one day. Trust me, i am not getting married anytime soon. I hope one day to have a cake business with as great cakes as these.

Sorry Samantha - wish I could but these cakes are too delicate to ship such long distances
We do have a delivery service that could technically deliver anywhere within the United States - but it would be a bit to expensive to deliver it all the way to Chicago.
