Continuing the best of themed posts, here is our list of best-of baby shower cakes for 2008. As with the other best-of lists, this list was compiled based on a combination of number of views and comments throughout the year.
#5 Pregnant Lady with a Twist Cake
2008 was the year of the mother-to-be cake topper. This two tier cake includes a mother-to-be with a more edgy and stylish theme.
Our baby shower package with cupcakes, cookies and cake topper was a popular item this year. I especially like the color scheme for this cake topper. And of course, this topper also includes our popular pregnant mother-to-be.
The next two baby shower themed cakes are our popular cupcake stands. These two stands were created early in 2008 and remain very popular.
#1 Pink and Brown Baby Shower Cake
And the number 1 baby shower cake of 2008 is “Ezekiel” the sheep baby shower cake. We actually re-created Ezekiel again for a cupcake stand but I never ended up posted it on our blog. However as a treat for reading this far, here is a photo of the cake topper.

BUT which one! they are all FLIPPING BRILLIANT!!!! ACE job! you have made of them all! O my God, I can’t still believe your wonderful cakes. I am studying to be a chef and want to specialize in pastry. I used to work in a bakery where we did this type of cakes, but yours are so perfect, they can’t be real. jaja .
How much I will love for you to teach me the things you know to be able to make this wonderful cakes. A friend and I are in the business of desserts, and we will love to start making cakes like these.
