Teddy Bear Sailor Baby Shower Cake (675)
This nautical themed baby shower cake marks the celebration of a newborn baby boy. We worked with our client to ensure the colors (light and dark blue along with red) matched the colors of the baby shower’s theme.
Rolling light blue fondant waves with sandy beaches, starfish, fishes and a life preserver round out the decorations to complete the beach theme. Atop the cake sits a teddy bear gumpaste sailor in a sailboat with a fishing pole. His anchor is floating along the top tier, and you can see he’s hooked a fish. Completing the ocean scene is nautical fondant rope that surrounds the base of each tier.
The entire cake was red velvet with lemon cream cheese filling.
