Princess Sweet 16 Cake

This cake was inspired by our 21st birthday cake created last year. This rendition was created to celebrate Rachel’s sweet 16 party.

The top tier of the cake includes a silver scrolled tiara with clear crystal decorations. Ivory fondant with fondant “16″ patterns in turquoise decorate the top tier. The base of the tier includes a floral accent of white garden roses and blue hydrangeas. The next tier includes an ivory damask stencil with Rachel’s named centered in an oval plaque.

The next tier is decorated with a quilted ivory pattern while the final tier is highlighted with turquoise fondant and ivory piped scroll patterns. Flavors and fillings included banana cake with chocolate buttercream, vanilla cake with raspberry chambord and vanilla buttercream, chocolate with peanut butter, mocha and hazelnut buttercream and red velvet cake with cream cheese.
