Hot Pink, Black and White Sweet 16 Birthday Cake

We worked with one of our favorite event planners for this sweet 16 cake – My Bellissima! The event was held at Perle in New Brunswick NJ and we partnered with Danielle from My Bellissima to design the cake.

The party’s colors were a mixture of hot and light pink along with black and white damask – really a perfect combination of the style of sweet 16 cakes we’ve created in the past.

The 2 tier round cake was highlighted with the guest of honor at the top dressed in a stunning gold dress. The top tier is covered in hot pink fondant with swiss piped dots while the bottom tier is covered in white fondant with a black damask stencil pattern. White piped pearls decorate the base of each tier. The entire cake was our signature pink velvet with 2 layers of vanilla buttercream and one layer of raspberry chambord buttercream.

As a guide for the topper, Danielle provided a sketch of the birthday girl that was also used on the party’s invitations.
