Sugar Flower Bouquet Wedding Cake (1928)
Green peonies, ivory & lavender roses highlight the sugar flower bouquet that sits horizontally across the middle tier of this four tier wedding cake. The entire cake is covered in ivory fondant with clean white horizontal bands. The design was partially inspired by our cabbage rose wedding cake.
The entire cake was pink velvet with cream cheese filling. We delivered the cake to the Summit, NJ.
Debbie left us this wonderful note after her daugther’s wedding. We are thrilled the cake was well received and delicious!
You all designed and baked the most beautiful cake for my daughter, Meredith Neely’s wedding on June 25th at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit ,NJ. All night long I heard compliments about the way the cake was designed and since the wedding, people have been calling to say that it was the best tasting cake that they have had at a wedding. (I only got 2 quick bites before it was taken away, but those little bites were heaven!!!!) I am so glad that we selected you all to do the cake..it was fabulous..in fact Meredith saw a friend of hers and her date sitting alone at the table while everyone else was up dancing..she asked the young lady why she wasn’t dancing and her friend replied ,”This cake is so good we are eating everyones’!!!”
