Protein Shake Birthday Cake (1193)

One of the benefits of being married to a pastry chef is that I get spectacular cakes for every birthday no matter what age I’m turning. Last year, for my 30th, Anne made me an awesome Mr. Potato Head cake. She managed to fit so many of my interests in that cake that she had a problem figuring out what to make me this year.

Well fortunately she’s very creative and she decided for my 31st to create me this fantastic replica of our blender filled with my protein shake that I make everyday. (By the way, she absolutely hates the taste of my shake, but I think it’s delicious) Inside the cake she layered three different sets of flavors – carrot cake with cream cheese filling, banana cake with peanut butter filling and green tea cake with vanilla mousse filling.  The banana cake and carrot cake were delicious!
