Zoya’s Princess Castle Birthday Cake

Zoya’s fourth birthday was this weekend and her birthday party was princess themed. She’s a big fan of pink and purple, so we of course obliged!

The top of the cake includes a special castle cake topper in pink, purple and green. The next tier is covered in fondant stripes with a rolled gold fondant “4″ on the front face of the tier.

The bottom tier is covered in pink fondant and decorated with polka dots. Zoya’s name is written in gold across the front. Flavors and fillings included chocolate with oreos and cream and vanilla with vanilla and chocolate buttercream.

Update, we created another version of this for a combined birthday celebration for Yana and Mila. We’ve done cakes for the family in the past and were happy to create this birthday cake for the children’s birthdays.

Flavors and fillings included chocolate cake with oreos and cream buttercrea and vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and custard. Yana and Mila’s name are written across the front in gold along with a number “5″ and “3″.

Along with the cake we included 24 chocolate cupcakes with pink and lavender buttercream to match the colors of the cake.
