Your cakes are a-m-a-z-i-n-g
It’s a pity I live in Poland, I wish I could have one of this wonderful cakes on my wedding!
Hi Ann,
Great CNN spot
– I have been a flickr ‘friend’ and drooled over your creations for a while now – my oldest daughter (16) too, in fact she’s seriously thinking about persuing cake making as a career!!! Need an intern the summer of 2009 ?? LOL
Anyway great job, you are a great inspiration to young women (and I have 3 of them!) keep it up, don’t ever let the passion and joy you get from creating these masterpieces get squelched (by overcommiting and not leaving time in life for yourself and relationships
Your Mum looks really lovely – I miss my Mum (still back in England) it would be fun to work alongside her
Your website is lovely too, do you do that too??
tootles,
Alice the Brit, in sunny Florida now (actually it raining LOL)
Mum to the 4 M&M’s – kids that is not Candy
and the 2 furkids Twix & Twizzler (see I have a candy fetish!)
Anne,
I have been watching your cakes and cupcakes evolve on Flickr for at least 2 years now. I have to tell you I thrilled that you are doing so well. My hopes for opening a bakery have been dashed since getting out of culinary school. Especially when MSN/CNN recently did an article on how a bakery is the least profitable/riskiest business to open up. I am constantly getting inspirations from you pictures! Trust me, if I lived in the tri-state area I would be at your door begging for a job!!
Good Luck and Thank you!!

Agnes – One day we may be international
Alice – That’s great that you daughter is passionate about cake decorating. It’s great to hear that my work is inspiring young women. As far as my website goes, my husband and I manage it. Thanks so much for your comment.
Kimberlee – thanks for your support – that’s great to hear you’ve followed us the past two years I recommend you read The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It – it will give you a great perspective about the challenges of opening your own business. Best of luck!
I love your beautiful works of art… I’m sure they taste as delicious as they look.
Congratulations on the CNN spot! I am contemplating starting a business of my own so it’s inspiring to see risk takers such as yourself succeed.
Congratulations on your CNN spot – it was very inspiring to watch. You and your shop do great work and it’s nice to see you become so successful in such a short time period.
Congrats! You are an inspiration, and so talented!
Hey, congratulations.
I’d love to have one of those cakes as well, such a pity I’m in Peru.
Keep going with the succesfull bussines
Congrats to all your success. May I use one of your photos on my blog in a post about you?
Great spot Anne. It’s fantastic to see all of your dreams coming true. From all of us at the Park Avenue Club, continued success.
Anne, I can’t believe you were on CNN! What a fantastic piece on how it all began! Wishing you continued success! And you better be in touch when Bobby Flay comes to do a throwdown
ps–I loved my 30th bday cupcakes!
hi Anne
Thanks for visiting our blog! Your work is extraordinary! Kelly’s on vacation right now, but I’ll make sure she comes back to check out your site! (not to mention I’ve got to watch the videos and see if I can do some of them!) too bad we weren’t closer or we’d come have a look at your shop! We’re in central Canada, so a long ways away!!
I was just looking at cakes for my wedding next may. I think I am going to go with your cakes, they look good and you are very inspirational.
