Pink and Brown Baby Shower Cakes
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Baby Shower Cakes on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008.This cake features “Ezekiel” the sheep…well that’s the name we gave him - it’s not his real name
We created the cake for a baby shower in Jersey City at Puccini’s Restaurant. It was inspired by our popular pink and brown cake featured on the pink cake box homepage. Ezekiel is completed with a pacifier and baby blanket both inspired by the invitations for the shower. The flavors included pink velvet with vanilla buttercream, chocolate cake with peanut butter, and almond cake with strawberries and vanilla custard.

Here’s a close-up of “Ezekiel”:

We received a wonderful thank-you letter from the mother-to-be:
I just wanted to say thank you Anne for creating such wonderful artwork. The cake was a tremendous hit and everyone at the party, including other party goers kept asking me where I got my cake from. The restaurant that I had my baby shower at is very interested in working with you in the near future. Please feel free to send them your business card since unfortunately I did not have any on hand. BTW, the cake tasted wonderful!!!
