Peanut Buttercup Cake

Today we celebrated my nephew Brian’s 6th birthday! Every year Brian picks out the theme for his cake (here’s his 3rd birthday cake, 2nd birthday cake and 1st birthday cake). However, this year not only did he pick out his theme, but he also designed the cake!

It was his idea to have his whole family swimming in a peanut butter cup (his favorite candy!). The cake flavor was of course chocolate with peanut butter and chocolate buttercream. We even included his goldfish “Birthday” who was given to him on his fourth birthday.
