Orchid & Roses Wedding Cake (1539)

Cascading Flowers Orchids Wedding Cake

We were happy to create this cake for Paul Teutul Jr. from the reality TV show American Chopper and his wife Rachel, for their wedding at the beautiful Bonnet Island, LBI. .

The cake included six tiers of cascading roses & orchids and was covered in ivory fondant and decorated with swiss dots. Cascading roses and orchids swirl down the tiers along with crystals. Blush pink piped pearls surround each tier. Flavors included pink velvet with lemon cream cheese.

All tiers were red velvet with lemon cream cheese. Here’s a video of the cake I shot at the shop:

I thought Buddy, the Cake Boss, was making the wedding cake for Paul and Rachael and that they’d be featured on an episode of Cake Boss. Was I wrong about that?

    1. Anne says:

Hi Susie – nope we made the cake. Although there are some new reports out there that have incorrectly said Paul & Rachael’s cake was from Buddy, so we understand the confusion.

  2. Theresa says:

I am stunned! This has made me want to get married again, just for the cake. I know my husband may disagree, but who’s asking him :>)

    Dear Anne

Today is my birthday and I am at home after a long day at work alone. It was a manic week so I did not make plans. To cheer myself up on this lonesome day, I was online when I saw a posted a pix from your website for a stunning, stunning choco b’day cake… which has led me to your site. I cannot tell you how amazed I am with the works of art you have crafted and am now inspired to pursue baking. I have been sore from smiling continuously at your gallery pictures. You and your team are so creative and so dedicated – every item has been made meticulously and with so much love and passion. Hence, the receivers must be floored from the magic you create. I live in Hong Kong and cupcake/baking industry is taking off. However, I can say with complete certainty that no-one here is even marginally close. Should you ever wish to set-up shop and a baking school, please, please, please do get in touch with me! Imagine how much fun it would be for you to spread your talent right across the world to the most stunning city in the world.

    With much admiration and aspiration,
    Saira

P.S. Do not feel too sorry for me. I know my sister is planning a huge surprise birthday party for me tomorrow as it’s my 40th. In my next career, I wanted to be a cake artist just like you!

Saira – thanks for your note and I wish you the best and if we ever decide to expand to Hong Kong I’ll be in touch! :)
