Pink Cake Box may be New Jersey’s second-most celebrated cake shop. Since its opening in 2005, Anne Heap, the owner, and her staff of eight have landed cakes in magazines like People and InStyle Weddings and on television shows including WE’s “My Fair Wedding” and “Food Network Challenge.” The 1,100-square-foot bakery is more like an art studio than a traditional storefront.
And we have to thank our fan Michelle from our facebook fan page for this comment about the article:
Second most celebrated? You all make the best cakes in NJ hands down. I know cake. And yours are the best looking and best tasting. You are number one in my book. One thing I’ve learned is, there are a lot of people who can make a pretty cake, but taste is lost somewhere in the equation. I’ve had beautiful cakes that taste like nothing. Time after time you all pull off both and that’s why I’ll keep coming back. I need to get my birthday cake order in!
I think her point on the taste of the cake is an important one. We work very hard to make sure our cakes not only look great but taste great as well. But don’t take our word for it, check out our testimonial page.

Congrats Anne,
I’ve been following your work for years on Flickr and now I check for blog updates every three days lol
Keep doing great things!
