My nephew’s birthday cake
Posted to Events on Thursday, April 16th, 2009.Every year for the past three years, I’ve made my nephew Brian a cake for his birthday.
This year we made him some super-duper truck cupcakes for his kids party and a two-tier train cake for the family party. He even invented his own flavor for this two tier cake -- vanilla with chocolate oreos and cream filling.

This is nearly an exact replica of what I wanted to do for my son’s birthday cake, but it never came to fruition. All your cakes are fabulous, but we’re huge Thomas fans in this house, so this one (pun totally intended) Takes the cake. Happy Birthday to your nephew!

Wow! That is so awesome! I love doing kids cakes, they get so excited about them, and I can go all out with the bright colours!!

Awesome! My son is a Thomas addict (and when I say addict, I mean EVERYTHING is Thomas!!!) so when I showed him this cake, he started flipping out, lol! I recently did a “Knapford Station” cake for his 2nd birthday in March. If you have time, check it out on my site =)
