Mommy-to-be Cake Topper & Topsy Turvy Classes (2011)

Cake Love 2011

We know it’s a year away, but we are excited about the two classes we’ll be teaching in Vancouver CA from Sept 23rd to Sept 25th at Cake Love 2011!! We’ll be teaching two classes – a topsy turvy class and a mommy-to-be cake topper class.

From the mommy-to-be topper class description:

Learn how to create one of Pink Cake Box’s signature mommy-to-be gumpaste cake toppers. Class will include a demonstration and instruction on making a figure from beginning to end, with accessories. Instruction will be provided on how to customize your figure’s hair style and outfit. This is a great class for anyone who wants to learn how to make gumpaste figures!

From the topsy turvy class description:

This fun class will include a demonstration of carving a two-tiered topsy turvey cake. Using faux cakes, students will learn how to decorate their topsy turvey cakes. Instruction will include some exciting techniques on creating animal prints, patterns and decorations on wires. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of creating and decorating a whimsical topsy turvey.

Examples of our topsy turvy cakes are here and our pregnant mommy-to-be cake toppers are here.

We hope to see you there!

This is such a good idea! I wish I could go and take that course, you are my favorite cake artist! Maybe you could tape that course and then sell it later on your website, I’m your first costumer! I would love to learn how to make those cute little mommy-to-be. Hope my suggestion will become a dream come true! Happy New Year to all your team and God Bless. Nancy
