Mia’s 6th Birthday Circus Elephant Cake (2386)

Circus Elephant Birthday Cake

Over the last few years we’ve done a few cakes for Mia and were thrilled when Mia’s mother Lina reached out to us for Mia’s 6th birthday party. Lina sent a picture of a circus elephant birthday box centerpiece that we used as inspiration for this cake design. The parties theme was carnival and the colors were red, white and turquoise.

Atop the two tier cake is a sculpted circus elephant decked out in a red and yellow party hat and draped in a turquoise blanket. The gray elephant is balancing delicately atop a circus ball while balancing a flag on his back.

The top tier of the cake is covered in yellow and red fondant which was formed in a triangle pattern. The next tier is covered in white and red fondant stripes with Mia’s name written across the front in turquoise. The entire cake was vanilla with chocolate buttercream.
