Marching Ants Fez Birthday Cake (320)

We delivered this cake to Manhattan for a 50th Birthday party. This cake was for a former co-worker’s husband – so I was very excited to make it for her!

The cake is decorated with a pale blue and sage green arabesque pattern – mimicking a vintage 70′s style, with a red fez on top! The marching ants are carrying records, bowling pins, eyeballs & swiss cheese… a tribute to the ‘birthday boy’s’ quirky sense of humor! All three tiers are chocolate cake with raspberry chambord filling.
