Globe Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Children's Cakes, Novelty Cakes on Saturday, September 8th, 2007.This earth cake was one of our most challenging cakes to date. It was created for the Healing the Children benefit in Morristown, NJ.
The cake at the bottom base of the globe was decorated with a wood grain appearance to match the decor of the house where it was being displayed. The globe cake, suspended above the base, highlights all the places across the world where the organization has visited and helped children with cleft lip and palate deformities. Inside the base and globe is vanilla cake with chocolate filling.
