4 Tier Orchid Wedding Cake

This weekend at the beautiful Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ we delivered this 5 tier wedding cake. Ivory fondant covers all five square tiers and the cake is topped with a crystal monogrammed topper provided by the client. White piped details decorate each tier and crystal bands adorn the base of each tier. We incorporated details of the bride’s wedding dress into the piped details. The base of each tier also includes white and blush pink phalaenopsis orchids.

Flavors included chocolate with peanut butter and oreos and cream buttercream, pink champagne cake with mimosa buttercream, vanilla cake with hazlenut and chocolate buttercream and hot pink velvet cake with lemon cream cheese and raspberry chambord buttercream.

We have a 5 tier wedding cake that has hand painting that matches the bride’s wedding gown. The whole cake is accented with phalaenopsis orchids in blush and white. At the base of each tier are crystal bands.

The vertical piped pearl design for the wedding cakes below works well for brides looking for elegant yet simple cake designs that can complement their wedding dress. The first 3 tier wedding cake includes a line of piped details along the front in ivory, champagne and mauve. The top of the cake includes a champagne colored tri-loop bown with tails. The entire cake is covered ivory fondant with ivory piped pearls around the base of each tier.

Flavors included chocolate with hazelnut buttercream, vanilla with mocha buttercream and chocolate with raspberry buttercream. We delivered this cake to Trump Soho in New York City.

Champange Bow Wedding Cake

White fondant with vertical sparkles and sage green bow detail this next wedding cake. The cake was inspired after the brides gown which had vertical beads running down the bodice. In the center of the hydrangea colored bow is a green Swarovski crystal.

Organza ribbon and lace appliqués decorate this 4 tier wedding cake. All four layers are vanilla cake filled with a combination of chocolate, hazelnut & raspberry and chambord fillings. We delivered the cake to the Mill at Spring Lakes Heights in South Jersey.

We delivered this wedding dress inspired cake, covered in ivory fondant and a pink bow, to Perona Farms in Andover, NJ. It’s a vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling.

This wedding dress inspired cake is a rich chocolate cake filled with oreos and buttercream in the first tier, moist white cake with raspberry chambord filling in the next two tiers, and chocolate with peanut butter filling in the top tier.

This ivory colored wedding cake is decorated with an appliqué that matches the beads on the bride’s wedding dress. It’s filled with raspberry filling.

5 Tier Wedding Cake With Lace Detail and Sugar Flower Separators

This 5 tier wedding cake was for our friends Ann and Hunter. Two tiers were three layers of chocolate cake filled with a layer of oreos and cream buttercream and white chocolate buttercream. The other three tiers were three layers of white cake filled with a layer of chocolate ganache, and a layer of mocha buttercream. The cake was covered in vanilla buttercream and finished with pale blue fondant. The lace on the bride’s dress was copied in sugarpaste and used to decorate the sides of the cake. The couple’s monogram was featured on the second tier, and two separators filled with sugar flowers finished this cake.

I want to wish Ann and Hunter a lifetime of happiness and…..lots of cake!

Wedding Cakes in NJ Bride Magazine

Update: Look for us in the Winter 2007 issue of NJ Bride due to hit stands on or around January 15th!

So the Fall issue of New Jersey Bride is on the stands, featuring two of our cakes!

The first cake, on page 119, is a champagne-infused white cake filled with lavender and white-chocolate mousse, iced with vanilla buttercream and decorated with rolled fondant and a sugarpaste bow. This cake was inspired by some of the latest wedding dress trends.

The second cake on page 183, is a blue wedding cake made of red velvet, filled with creme fraiche mousee, iced with vanilla buttercream, and decorated with rolled fondant and bordeaux sugarpaste roses.
