Damask & Crystal Wedding Cake

This six tier wedding cake is highlighted with a damask pattern on the middle tier and cumberbunds on the top and bottom tiers. Gold quilted separators separate the ivory and light green larger tiers. The cake is finished with crystals brooches and topper.

My husband and I delivered the cake to the Manor in West Orange, NJ. Its tall thin stature made for a very interesting drive…the good news is the cake made it in one piece.

Tropical Rainforest Cake

We created this cake for the North NJ Market Party for The Knot Magazine at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge NJ. The theme was “Going Green” with a Rain Forest decor. This 4 tier cake featured 2 textured tiers to mimic burlap, and 2 tiers of bamboo. The separators and boards were covered in Jaguar Printed fondant. Sugar orchids and leaves grew from the cake. We finished it off w/crystal butterflies and dragonflies. We also created logo cookies for the giveaway bags.

“The Kiss” Wedding Cake

We were asked to theme this 4 tier wedding cake based on “The Kiss” painting by Gustav Klimt. The painting has special meaning to the bride and groom because the groom proposed to the bride in Vienna, Austria in front of the painting. The painting is the bride’s favorite and after seeing a rendition of the cake done by Charm City Cakes, they asked us to create a version for their wedding.

The entire cake is apple spice with caramel mousse filling.

Rescue Me Themed Wedding Cake

This bride had a fun idea for her wedding cake. Her now husband is a fireman – and she asked us to create a sugar bride in distress perched atop of the wedding cake. Next to the cake, we added a fire truck grooms cake -complete with her sugar groom climbing a ladder to save her.

The 3 tiered round cake has sprays of pink, ivory, red and champagne pearls. Both the wedding cake and groom’s fire truck were red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.

Scrabble Wedding Cake

This unique wedding cake was themed off the Scrabble board game. The bride and groom used to play together over the internet while the groom was stationed in Iraq. We emphasized the letter K because the bride and groom both have names starting with K. Each tier contains lettered scrabble tiles forming the words marriage, love, laughter & family.

Another fun Halloween wedding! Inside this corpse bride cake decorated with bats, cats & dragonflies is red velvet & hazelnut filling and chocolate cake with chocolate filling.

Mini Corpse Bride Wedding Cake

The corpse bride theme is a popular request and this cake represents a miniature version of our larger corpse bride cake. Inside is white cake with ganache filling.

Topsy Turvy Wedding Cake

The venue for this wedding was Spring Lake, NJ so it was only appropriate to include some beach elements. Starfish and seashells decorated each topsy turvy tier and we incorporated celadon green, chocolate brown, raspberry, & champagne colors to match the weddings color theme.

The top three tiers had white cake with hazelnut. The bottom tier included our new pink velvet with cream cheese. There was one small paw print to the right of the “just married” sign which signified the day the couple met while walking their Labradors. The bride told me that the dogs are now best friends

Stanley Cup Wedding Cake

Back in April we received a request from a couple to reproduce the Stanley Cup for their wedding cake. The front of the cake includes their monogram and inside the cake is red velvet with raspberry chambord filling.
