Cascading Pink Dogwood Wedding Cake

This weekend we visited Frank Anthony’s restaurant in Verona to deliver this 3 tier pink dogwood wedding cake. The cake is decorated in quilted ivory fondant with small piped pearls around the base of each tier

The entire cake was red velvet with 2 layers of cream cheese and 1 layer of raspberry chambord buttercream.

Imagine a field on a farm surrounded with thousands of peonies in bloom – Peony’s Envy in Bernardsville, NJ is exactly that. That is why we were thrilled when Kathy Warden of Table Art reached out to use to partner with several other fantastic vendors to provide a wedding cake for a photo shoot this past spring.

Kathy sent us a photo of the wedding gown for the shoot and we used it as inspiration for the wedding cake. The cake was covered in white and ivory fondant with lace accents and a satin bow. Atop of the cake, Kathy placed a beautiful light pink peony flower.

Sugar Flower Bouquet Wedding Cake

Green peonies, ivory & lavender roses highlight the sugar flower bouquet that sits horizontally across the middle tier of this four tier wedding cake. The entire cake is covered in ivory fondant with clean white horizontal bands. The design was partially inspired by our cabbage rose wedding cake.

The entire cake was pink velvet with cream cheese filling. We delivered the cake to the Summit, NJ.

Debbie left us this wonderful note after her daugther’s wedding. We are thrilled the cake was well received and delicious!

You all designed and baked the most beautiful cake for my daughter, Meredith Neely’s wedding on June 25th at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit ,NJ. All night long I heard compliments about the way the cake was designed and since the wedding, people have been calling to say that it was the best tasting cake that they have had at a wedding. (I only got 2 quick bites before it was taken away, but those little bites were heaven!!!!) I am so glad that we selected you all to do the cake..it was fabulous..in fact Meredith saw a friend of hers and her date sitting alone at the table while everyone else was up dancing..she asked the young lady why she wasn’t dancing and her friend replied ,”This cake is so good we are eating everyones’!!!”

Pink Hydrangea Blossom Wedding Cake

Using our hydrangea blossom cake as inspiration, we designed this four tier round cake for a wedding this weekend in Gladstone, NJ. The top of the cake includes several pale pink blossoms and as you move down the cake, the color of the blossoms transition to a darker pink. White piped pearls decorate each tier and the entire cake is covered in white fondant.

Flavors and fillings included pink velvet with cream cheese, carrot cake with Italian meringue buttercream and coconut cake with Italian meringue buttercream and raspberry chambord buttercream.

Curly Willow Wedding Cake

Curly Willow branches with gold accents and white hydrangea highlight this 4 tier round wedding cake. Ivory fondant with sage cummerbunds decorate the base of each tier. We coordinated the bands to match the client’s dress.

Flavors and fillings included banana with chocolate ganache, vanilla with lemon buttercream, and chocolate with chocolate ganache.

Basketweave & Flower Wedding Cake

We combined two of our cakes to create this four tier basketweave & flower wedding cake. The first was Beverly’s 4 tier basketweave wedding cake which we used as a loose basis for the design. The other design we incorporated was inspired from another one of Beverly’s cakes that we created for her wedding shower.

At the top of the cake, we added 2 small yellow and orange butterflies and a large floral bunch. Flowers included white tulips, blush peonies, antique blue & green hydrangea, variegated ivy and yellow jasmine accent.

The second & final tiers were decorated in a basketweave pattern with additional flowers and butterflies. Each tier included a green fondant bond to accent each tier. Flavors and fillings included almond with raspberry chambord and almond buttercream, red velvet with raspberry chambord and lemon buttercream, pistachio with almond buttercream and vanilla with mimosa buttercream.

We have a four tier wedding and it’s a sort of mix of styles of two of our cakes. We included an assortment of peonies, tulips, hydrangea, jasmine & ivy with a basketweave pattern.

This 4 tier round and square wedding cake is decorated with several sugar flower bunches including ivory and white tulips, peonies, roses, hydrangea and accents of yellow allamanda cathartica. The base of each tier includes a thin pearlized ivory fondant band along the rest of each tier include ivory three swiss dot patterns.

Flavors included lemon cake with raspberry buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream. we delivered the cake to the The Manor in West Orange, NJ.

Pink Springtime Cherry Blossom Cake

It’s not quite springtime yet, but it sure left like it today in the Northern NJ Area!  In Morristown, it hit the 70s!  And with Spring just days away, we had to feature some Cherry Blossom wedding cakes.  If warm weather continues, we should start seeing the cherry blossoms start to bloom soon!!

Spring Butterfly Wedding Cake

I’m ready for Spring, and in New Jersey we expect spring like temperatures this Friday – in the 60s! After such a harsh winter, you really appreciate appreciate warmer temperatures. To celebrate the upcoming warmer weather (which unfortunately may not be hear to stay) here is a wonderful spring butterfly wedding cake.

The butterflies were hand painted in shades of reds, blues, pinks and yellows. Delicate white blossoms sparingly adorn the remaining tiers and a light pink bow surrounds the base of each tier.

Ranunculus Flower Wedding Cake

Raspberry pink, celadon & ivory colors highlight this three tier wedding cake. A small bouquet of ranunculus flowers sit atop the cake and an ornate damask pattern decorates the second tier. Rope detail trip covering the base of each tier rounds out the design. Flavors included lemon chiffon cake with raspberry white chocolate mousse filling.
