This sculpted cake was fashioned after the groom’s cat.  The cake is complete with it’s own “I Love Dad” t-shirt and bright blue eyes.  Sitting at the base of the cake is the cat’s favorite toy -- a golf ball. The cake flavors included red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream.

The birthday boy for this cake apparently always joked he’d love a bushel of fifty dollar bills for this birthday. So we were happy to
oblige… The fifties were made out of sugar with edible images. The brown barrel is covered in fondant and airbrushed. Happy Birthday!

When asked, “what would you like for a gift?” my husband always replies, “just give me a bushel basket of fifties.” The cake you designed to depict that for a very big birthday of his went above and beyond. It was sensational! Not only did you far exceed what we enivisioned, but the cake was delicious as well! It was so cute to see the children take a slice of cake with a $50 bill as a side. This 3d sculpted nut-free golf bag cake is filled with chocolate cake and oreos and cream buttercream. The bag is covered in blue and gold fondant and includes a Fighting Irish Man to round out the Notre Dame theme. We delivered the cake to the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, NJ.

Lindsey reached out to us back in August and asked us to create this MH-60 Sierra helicopter cake for her fiance who flies for the Navy. We incorporated his squadron’s emblem on the door of the helicopter along with the navy star on the body.

The cake included chocolate cake with oreo buttercream. The helicopter was delivered to the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ.

This picnic basket cake was created for a 40th anniversary surprise party. The party had a barbecue theme and the cake included a basket complete with watermelon, barbecued chicken leg and a small little ant stealing a piece of cheese.

Inside the basket included red velvet cake with one layer of vanille buttercream, one layer of raspberry buttercream, and one layer of hazelnut buttercream.

We delivered the cake to Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ.

Jennifer contacted us back in January and asked us if we could create a groom’s cake of the Penn State Nittany Lion Shrine for her fiance. She met her fiance during her sophomore year at Penn State and after five years together they are still huge Penn state fans. The shrine is a major attraction at Penn State and she felt the cake would be a wonderful addition to their wedding.

We delivered the cake to Mayfair Farms and the inside is red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream. Here’s a short video of the cake. You’ll notice the color is a bit off in the video…sorry about that!

Update! Jen & Jeff left us this wonderful comment about the groom’s cake. We are so happy we could help make their wedding day special.

An engagement ring and crocodile handbag make a perfect combination to celebrate a bridal shower.  The handbag was vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream filling.

It was a busy week for video game console cakes. First we created three Nintendo DSi cakes for Nintendo. We then followed that up with this Sony Playstation cake complete with a split soda and blackberry. We delivered the cake to Philadelphia, PA.

I am the proud owner (or was the proud owner) of this cake and I am still amazed at the level of detail Pink Cake Box put into this cake. Those who know me will understand why there is a Blackberry pearl and a Pepsi can soda sitting beside the PS3; these are three things in the world I cannot live without.

The cake underneath the fondant (PS3) was red velvet with lemon cream cheese icing (Mmm Mmm Good!!!!). The PS3 controller and Pepsi can was made with rice crispy treats dipped in chocolate and layered with fondant. I believe the blackberry pearl cell phone was made with sugar.

I want to thank Vernika for getting me such an outstanding cake for my birthday and thank Pink Cake Box for all they have done.
