What do you get for a groom who owns a trucking company specializing in dump trucks? A dump cake of course! Knowing that this groom was going to be an expert in all things truck related, we worked hard to make this dump truck as realistic as possible.

The sculpted truck is roughly 20 inches long and includes a yellow cab and dump box. The cake including alternating vanilla and chocolate with chocolate and oreos and cream buttercream.

We delivered the cake to The Venetian in Garfield, NJ.

Hi – I am the bride and want to say that Pink Cake Box went above and beyond all of my wildest expectations for my husband’s groom cake. Not only did it look EXACTLY like his truck…from his name under the handle the the tiniest details …like the grill, mud flaps and Peterbilt logo, it tasted PHENOMENAL. We used it as our wedding cake, but he did not want to cut it, not that I blame him. lol. It’s in our freezer. Our guests were totally blown away. Pregnant Mommy-to-be Cupcake Topper & Tower

If my memory serves me correct, we have not posted a full baby shower cupcake tower since our pregnant baby shower stand from way back in 2008! So I’m happy to show this one!

Sitting atop this topper cake is the mother-to-be dressed in a yellow dress with curly brown hair and chocolate brown pants. (The outfit was “borrowed” from this pregnant baby shower topper). The cake is covered in various sized polka dots including blue, purple, green, yellow and orange. The color scheme was coordinated to match the baby shower invitation.

Flavors and fillings included vanilla with oreos and cream buttercream. We delivered the stand, cupcakes and topper to Trattoria L’incontro in Astoria NY.

The cupcake flavors where chocolate and vanilla with hazelnut and lemon buttercream dyed yellow, blue, purple and orange.

Peacock & Peahen Wedding Cake

A peacock and peahen adorn the top of this three tier round wedding cake. The peacock’s feathers cascade around each tier of the cake. The feather’s colors were coordinated with a collage of different peacock feathers sent by the bride. The peahen includes beautiful Indian jewelry around the top of its head. Shimmery ivory fondant with light gold swirls cover the entire cake and purple lotus flowers accent each tier.

Flavors & fillings included almond with raspberry Italian meringue, pistachio with chai Italian meringue, and chocolate with hazelnut Italian meringue. The wedding was held at The Clinton Manor in Union, NJ.

Pink Hydrangea Blossom Wedding Cake

Using our hydrangea blossom cake as inspiration, we designed this four tier round cake for a wedding this weekend in Gladstone, NJ. The top of the cake includes several pale pink blossoms and as you move down the cake, the color of the blossoms transition to a darker pink. White piped pearls decorate each tier and the entire cake is covered in white fondant.

Flavors and fillings included pink velvet with cream cheese, carrot cake with Italian meringue buttercream and coconut cake with Italian meringue buttercream and raspberry chambord buttercream.

Christening Dessert Table with Cake, Cupcakes & Cookies

Today we celebrated our baby boy’s baptism!! We created this dessert table in colors of the event including navy, white, ivory, lime and light blue

The cake’s cross was inspired by the invitation. We also created mini cupcakes with square cross discs and cross favor cookies to match. Flavors included carrot and cream cheese, red velvet and cream cheese, marble with chocolate, and raspberry Italian meringue, almond cupcake with chocolate frosting and lemon cupcakes with blackberry frosting.

It was a sweet ending to a beautiful day!

Wedding Cupcake Tower

Jodie contacted us nearly a year ago asking if we create a cupcake stand similar to our cherry blossom cupcake tower for her wedding in NYC.

We incorporated the couple’s flowers on the topper cake which included orchids and anemones in purples, pinks, greens and white. The colors were coordinated with the rest of the color themes in her wedding. In all, 160 cupcakes were created which we paired with our large cupcake stand. Flavors for the cupcakes included marble cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry chambord buttercream dyed purple.

My husband and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary today and last night we ate some of the cake that sat atop our cupcake tower. After hearing horror stories from other people who ate their cake after a year we were pleasantly surprised ours was still moist and delicious, even after 365 of being in the freezer. Thank you so much, Pink Cake Box! And still, to this day, our guests are still telling us how much they loved the cupcakes. Thanks again!

Baby Shower Giraffe & Baby Cake

This baby shower cake was created for my tea party themed baby shower party at The Cosy Cupboard Tea Room in Morristown, NJ. Atop the cake sits a baby giraffe in a white teacup saliboat dressed in a sailors hat and blue scarf. The mommy giraffe, dressed fashionably in her pink hat and purse, is keeping her baby from sliding off the topsy turvy cake.

We were happy to create this cake for Paul Teutul Jr. from the reality TV show American Chopper and his wife Rachel, for their wedding at the beautiful Bonnet Island, LBI. .

The cake included six tiers of cascading roses & orchids and was covered in ivory fondant and decorated with swiss dots. Cascading roses and orchids swirl down the tiers along with crystals. Blush pink piped pearls surround each tier. Flavors included pink velvet with lemon cream cheese.

All tiers were red velvet with lemon cream cheese. Here’s a video of the cake I shot at the shop:

Yorkshire Terrier Dog Cake

Our first Yorkie cake! This little one has a pink bow with rhinestones in her hair and a pink collar around her neck with a silver heart tag. A small bones sits next to the dog with the message “Congrats Ashley and Anthony”

We have a cute 3D Yorkie here. Her name is Juicy – that really is her name we did not make that up This is a rehearsal dinner cake for Ashely and Anthony. The dinner is tonight and the wedding is tomorrow. This is their dog. You can see her cute little tail in the back. She is all cake. Her head is rice krispy treat and she is covered in fondant. I think this cake is bigger then the real Yorkie, but that is okay!

The 4 tiered cake featured both round and square tiers, which were covered in Basketweave fondant. Sugar flowers included tulips, peonies, hydrangea and berries. The bottom tier was mimosa cake filled with blood orange buttercream and vanilla bean mousse. The next tier up was chocolate cake with mint buttercream with valrhona crunchy pearls. The next was confetti meyer lemon filled with blackberry buttercream.

Today was a beautiful day for Sam and Beverly and we were so happy to be able to celebrate with them. Congrats and lots of love to both of you!
