Groom's Cake Sculpted Dog

Danielle reached out to us several months ago asking us if we could create a replica of their dog for a groom’s cake. She had seen some of our other pet groom cakes and wanted the same experience for her fiance.

The couple are proud owners of a chocolate brown shih tzu and Danielle sent us several pictures to work off of. Inside is spice cake with mocha buttercream. We delivered the dog cake to Prima Vera Regency in Stirling NJ.

What do you get for a groom who owns a trucking company specializing in dump trucks? A dump cake of course! Knowing that this groom was going to be an expert in all things truck related, we worked hard to make this dump truck as realistic as possible.

The sculpted truck is roughly 20 inches long and includes a yellow cab and dump box. The cake including alternating vanilla and chocolate with chocolate and oreos and cream buttercream.

We delivered the cake to The Venetian in Garfield, NJ.

Sushi Platter

The last sushi groom’s cake we did was back in 2009. So it was about time we did another one! This groom’s cake sushi platter includes several different colorful and fun types of sushi and rolls.

Lucy the Bulldog

What do you do for a bulldog that has her own facebook page? You make a cake in her likeness to celebrate your nuptials! Kathy asked her us recreate Lucy in cake for her and her fiance’s upcoming wedding in Far Hills, NJ.

Lucy is a active, athletic and quite spry bulldog hence the soccer ball sitting at the base of her feet. She also is sporting burt’s bees chapstick. Not sure of the story behind this one…

Gold Ball Groom's Cake

This oversized groom’s golf ball cake was created for a couple that was married at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ. The golf ball sits atop green piped grass and included chocolate with raspberry chambord and hazelnut buttercream.

Dog, Cat & Turtle Groom's Cake

My husband has been asking for a dog for years. After making this cake, I’m wondering if a dog cake would be a better alternative? This 3d sculpted cake includes a black lab mutt with a cat sitting on top of his head. The entire cake was chocolate with oreos and cream buttercream.

The groom’s cake was inspired by photos of the couple’s animals which they collectively refer to as “Our Zoo”.

Here’s the cute cat with his legs dangling down the side of the black lab’s backside. Also, as a nod to the groom’s favorite football team, notice the Jet’s collar around the dogs neck.

We have a groom’s cake – which includes a little cat atop this black doggy’s head. Over here is a little turtle which looks very realistic (I don’t like reptiles by the way!). That’s “Our Zoo” is the message on the cake board. You’ll also notice the dog has a Jet’s collar on. We’ll spin the cake and so you can see the cat with his little legs dangling. I would like to see this actually happen in real life!

Bass Fish Groom's Cake

For a wedding at the shore in Point Pleasant, NJ this weekend we recreated our bass groom’s cake. This version includes a message to the groom – “To Darren, the catch of a lifetime!”. Flavors and fillings included graham cracker cake with marshmallow and chocolate buttercream filling – otherwise known as s’mores.

Bulldog Groom's Cake

Bulldog cake’s seem to be popular options for groom’s cakes at weddings. Panda, the name of this bulldog, sports a spiked collar and silver nametag. We delivered the cake to the Russian Tea Room in New York City.

Fisherman's Groom Cake

For this two tier groom’s cake we incorporated the groom’s favorite pastime- fishing. The fisherman on top of the cake is dressed in a navy blue baseball cap with the words “reel extreme” on the hat. Along with the fishing rod and rowboat we incorporated some of the groom’s favorite beers into the cake.

Flavors included red velvet with cream cheese and vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream. We delivered the cake to the Grain House in Basking Ridge, NJ.

How cute is the little doggy hanging from the window of this cop car? We created this groom’s cake for a wedding at the Westmount Country Club in Livingston, NJ.
