Spring Communion Cake

Our popular first communion cake returns with a few design changes. The top of the cake includes a sugar flower bunch with white tulips, pink callas, white orchids, orange roses and green leaves. Other details included white fondant swirls with piped accents in orange and hot pink. Final touches include a pink painted cross, a crystal butterfly and dragonfly.

Flavors included vanilla with raspberry chambord and chocolate ganache. We delivered the cake to Bedminister, NJ.

First Holy Communion Cross Cake

It’s that time of year again – lots of first communions to prepare for! We used bright colors included celadon green and light pink with polka dots and stripes to decorate this three tier asymmetrical cake. Flavors included chocolate with vanilla and hazelnut buttercream and vanilla with vanilla and strawberry buttercream.

The top tier of the cake includes a simple white standing cross and quilted fondant with white piped dots in the corners. The bottom of the cake reads “God Bless Cecilia Anne”. We delivered the cake to Twin Maples in Summit, NJ.

1st Communion Cupcake Topper Cake

Day 3 of our cupcake topper cake extravaganza gives us this 1st communion cupcake topper. Atop the cake sits a boy holding a white cross. The cake is covered in white fondant with light blue dots and a light blue band. Our XS cupcake tower was included along with 35 nut-free cupcakes. The design for this cake was inspired by this blue and white 2 tier cake.

The vanilla cake with oreos and cream buttercream was nut free and we delivered it to East Fishkill NY.

Gerber Daisy First Holy Communion Cake

While searching through our cake gallery, our customer loved the delicate look of our butterfly wedding cake and was also inspired by our spring themed first communion cake. So we used both as as inspiration when designing her First Holy Communion Cake.

The top of the cake includes a light pink cross cutout. Ivory fondant covers all tiers along with pastel gerber daisies, polka dots, butterflies and ladybugs rounding out the rest of the decorations. We delivered the cake to La Famiglia in Bogota, NJ.

Dove Holy Communion Cake

Inspired by our smaller two tier first communion cake, this 3 tier cake is top with two doves and covered in shades of blue, pink, & red polka dots and stripes. Flavors included vanilla and chocolate cake with oreos and cream filling.

First Communion Springtime Cake

It’s that time of year again for first communions and christenings! This 4 tier round cake is based off our butterfly cake. It’s covered in celadon fondant with painted grass and white cut fondant swirls with piped accents in oragnge and pink. The top of the cake includes orange roses, white tulips, pink callas and white orchids sugar flowers with small crystal butterflies and dragonflies. On the front of the middle tier is a pink piped name “Olivia” with a faded cross in the background.

The cake is Nut Free and includes our signature pink velvet with cream cheese, chocolate cake with oreos and cream buttercream and vanilla cake with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries.

First Communion Spring Themed Cake

Spring is the theme behind this 3 tier first communion cake. Butterflies, ladybugs and Gerbera daises with light colors like pastel pink, lavender and light green highlight the spring theme. The flavors included chocolate cake with cannoli filling, pink velvet cake with two layers of cannoli and one layer of vanilla mousse filling and chocolate ganache with chocolate mousse filling.

Sandra sent me a photo of the cake and this wonderful email. We are happy the cake was a hit!

First Communion Cupcake Topper

It’s that time of year again when we start getting many more first holy communion cake requests. This cupcake tree cake topper is our first topper done for a first communion celebration. Atop the cake lies a bible and silver rosary. With the topper we also included vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes each topped with silver piped crosses.

This communion cake includes 2 birds on topping holding a banner which reads “God Bless Grace & Tyler”. We included baby blue and silver vertically across the top tier. And the bottom tier is covered in baby blue fondant with white and silver polka dots. The falvors included red velvet with raspberry chambord and vanilla cake with cannoli filling.

Heather was kind enough to leave us a comment about the cake. This may be the first time one of our cakes has made someone cry

The cake was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I kid you not when I say that people just could not get over that cake! My mother actually cried, yes CRIED, when she saw it. Now anything that can bring her to tears just has to be out of this world fantastic. Not to mention it was yummy beyond belief
