Gift Box Engagement Cake

We were contacted to create this engagement cake to celebrate the upcoming wedding nuptials for Talal and Ranya. The cake was inspired partially by our purple gift box wedding cake.

The highlight of the 5 tier asymmetrically stacked gift box cake are the bride-to-be and groom-to-be who are chatting with each other via phone on the sides of the cake. The top of the cake is highlighted with an eggplant multi-looped bow. Additional decorations include sugar flowers like fuchsia phalanopsis orchids, coral-burnt orange roses, mixed purple hydrangea and green leaves. The front of the cake includes an oval plaque with a personalized message for the couple.

Flavors and fillings included red velvet with cream cheese, chocolate with hazelnut Frangelico, red velvet with cream cheese, and finally chocolate with chocolate buttercream. We delivered the cake to the roof terrace at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.

Tree Stump Engagement Cake

Our client provided us with an image for this tree stump engagement cake that we used as inspiration for the design. Spring accents including ladybugs, bees, butterflies, flowers and mushrooms highlight the tree stump and the couples initials are carved into a heart in the center of the stump.

The cake was S’mores (graham cracker cake with marshmallow and chocolate buttercream) and we delivered it to Doylestown, PA

We totally missed out on posting this cake along with our other Halloween cakes this year. Fawn and Keith reached out to us to help design this cake for their engagement party in Butler, NJ. We incorporated design elements from their awesome invitation and matched the cake with their color scheme of purple, lime, orange, silver and black.

On top of the cake sits a glittery purple pumpkin with a lime stem and vines. The second tier includes a black chandelier silhouette base to match the chandeliers from the party. The next tier includes an edible image printout from the invitation and the final tier includes a 2d glittery orange skull.

Flavors included chocolate cake with oreos and cream buttercream, vanilla cake with hazelnut buttercream and red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream.

We wish Fawn and Keith a lifetime of happiness! They were a pleasure to work with and I was very happy to receive this note from Fawn after the party:

Two tiers of celadon green fondant with hand pipped gold, burnt orange and deep red decorations highlight this engagement party cake. To finish off the cake, a bunch of sugar roses were placed on the second tier.

The teddy bear topper for this engagement cake was inspired by a photo sent by our customer. Each cake tier is covered in ivory fondant with burnt red fondant bands at the base of each tier. Floral bunches highlight each tier and a monogram “P & R” in metallic gold decorates the front of the cake.

Flavors included pink velvet cake with chocolate mousse, carrot cake with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla cake with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries.

This was my engagement cake!! And it was amazzzzing. It was beatuiful and very cute and everyone loved it. Not to mention all the flavors were good.
I would def order more cakes from here! It was everything I thought it would be. Thank you team!

I love the monogrammed heart logo from the events invitation that was also incorporated into this 4 tier nut-free engagement cake. The rest of the decorations include starfish and seashells at the base of each tier along with piped pearls. The entire cake is covered in a soft yellow fondant.

We delivered the cake to the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, NJ.

This cupcake topper was created for one of our former intern’s sister.  (Interested in becoming an Intern?  You can apply for an internship here).  The topper cake includes a bride dressed in a pink dress with a lab coat and the groom on one knee with the engagement ring.  The cake is covered in green fondant and decorated with brown and light pink polka dots.
