Pink Christening Cross Cake with Damask Pattern

This christening cake was based on our lavender christening cake we designed late last year.

What’s unique about this cake is our baby pink “bow loop” cross. The top and bottom tiers aare covered in baby pink fondant with white damask and a white thin band at the bases. The middle tier is decorated with white fondant and baby pink swiss dots and a baby pink cutout for Adrianna. A baby pink bow with tails adorns the base of the tier.

We delivered the cake to La Pastaria in Summit, NJ. Flavors and fillings included vanilla with lemon cream cheese and raspberry chambord buttercream, chocolate with chocolate and peanut buttercream and vanilla with lemon cream cheese and raspberry chambord buttercream.

Lavender Christening Cake

Using our Christening cross topper cake as inspiration, we worked with our client to create this 3 tier cake topped with a cross for a christening this past weekend. The top and bottom tiers are covered in lavender fondant with a white damask stencil The middle tier is decorated in white fondant with lavender swiss dots and a lavender bow with tails.

Flavors and fillings included chocolate with raspberry chambord buttercream, chocolate with oreos and cream buttercream and chocolate with peanut butter buttercream. Last, but certainly not least, we decorated the cakes with a few ladybugs in lavender with purple spots.

Quilted Green Baptism Cake

Sometimes, some of our best customers allow us to be part of the progression of their families life events. Jacob’s parent’s first reached out to us 2009 to create a baby shower cake. Then in 2010 we helped celebrate Jacob’s first birthday with a safari jungle cake.

This year marked Jacob’s baptism. We used my son’s baptism cake as inspiration with some key changes. The sides of the cake tiers were paneled with quilted green fondant and piped white dots to match the invitation. The top of the christening cake includes a black fondant monogram while the front of the cake includes a black cross with piped detail and green fondant accents. The other distinguishing feature of this cake is the boy sitting on the bottom tier dressed in a white suite, shirt, tie and pants. Lastly, we introduced a black stencil damask on the board of this cake – one of the first we’ve ever done.

Garden Themed Cupcake Tree

In our most popular cake section we have one of my favorite cakes – it’s a four tier 1st communion cake with several springtime flowers. The cake has almost an ethereal feel to it and my favorite part of the cake is the faded cross on the second tier.

This cake has inspired several other cakes including this springtime garden cupcake stand pictured above. The top of the stand included a topper cake with a floral bunch which matched the client’s centerpieces. In the floral bunch were orange roses, fuchsia peonies, green ranunculus and green leaves. The entire topper cake was covered in celadon green with white cutout swirls, painted grass and piped scroll work with orange and fuchsia dot accents.

Springtime Garden Baptism Cupcake Tier

Flavors and fillings included red velvet with vanilla buttercream. Along with the stand and topper cake we included 110 cupcakes in assorted flavors included vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, marble and banana. Vanilla buttercream dyed orange, green and fuchsia pink topped each cupcake to coordinate with the topper cake.

Christening Dessert Table with Cake, Cupcakes & Cookies

Today we celebrated our baby boy’s baptism!! We created this dessert table in colors of the event including navy, white, ivory, lime and light blue

The cake’s cross was inspired by the invitation. We also created mini cupcakes with square cross discs and cross favor cookies to match. Flavors included carrot and cream cheese, red velvet and cream cheese, marble with chocolate, and raspberry Italian meringue, almond cupcake with chocolate frosting and lemon cupcakes with blackberry frosting.

It was a sweet ending to a beautiful day!

Empire State Christening Cake

This unique cake was created for a baptism in New York City. The King Kong themed cake includes a replica of the empire state building with the baby hanging off the top. The entire cake was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.

We were contacted by one of our repeat customers to create this cake and cupcake combo for their daughter’s christening. The cake was inspired by this Christening cake, cupcake and cookies combination.

The theme of the party was pink and brown and the cake topper’s cross and details were created to match the style of the christening’s invitation. The entire cake was nut free and flavors included our signature pink velvet with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with vanilla buttercream and vanilla cake with chocolate cake. We delivered the cookies, cupcakes, cake and cupcake stand to Kinnelon, NJ.

We took our popular standing christening gown cake and miniaturized it for this 3 tier pillow patterned christening cake. The entire cake includes egg-free coconut cake with raspberry chambord buttercream and was delivered to Solar Do Minho in Roselle Park, NJ

This 4 tier round cake is a whimsical take on the typical christening cake we’ve designed in the past. Gerber daisies in hot pink, tangerine with lime green stems and vines adorn all four tiers. Light pink lady bugs are scattered throughout the cake. The front of the second tier includes an accented cross with hot pink piped script of the celebrants name. This style was inspired by this first communion cake.

Flavors included chocolate cake with mocha buttercream and pink velvet with cream cheese. We delivered the cake to the American Hotel in Freehold, NJ.

This 4 tier christening cake was inspired by a smaller version of a similar christening cross cake. The front of the cake has “Trinity Jade” written in gold script and the base of each tier are decorated with gold fondant bands. Flavors included vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, red velvet with vanilla buttercream and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.
