Hat Box Bridal Shower Cake

Our second hat box cake inspired by a similar cake we did back in March this year. The top of the cake is covered in white fondant with jewelry, flowers and tissue papers flowing out.

The base of the tier includes a high heel shoe which was created to match a similar one on the bridal shower invitation. The shoe is sparkly white with a lavender bow in the back.

White & Lavender Sugar Roses

Cascading roses in lavender and white with green leaves flow down the front of the cake. The bottom tier, topped with a silver lid, is decorated with purple and white curved diamond patterns. The cake board reads “I Do, I Do!”.

Flavors and fillings included red velvet with Italian meringue buttercream and vanilla buttercream with 2 layers of lemon cream cheese and 1 layer of raspberry chambord buttercream. We delivered the cake to Lunello’s in Cedar Grove, NJ.

Ribbon Bridal Shower Cake

Our friend Alisha had her bridal shower this week and we presented her with this cake to help celebrate her very special shower. The 3 tier cake is highlighted with a ribbon theme – we used several different textures of ribbon to accentuate the theme. Flowers on the cake included peonies, hydrangea and roses in pink and white with a touch of green accent.

The cake colors included ivory, champagne and blush and flavors included red velvet with lemon cream cheese and marble with 2 layers of chocolate ganache and 1 layer of chocolate buttercream.

The cake was wonderful! It was so beautiful…. more than I could have ever imagined! Anne did a perfect job coordinating the themes of the favor boxes and the color scheme of the wedding. No-one at the party could believe that the cake was 100% edible and that it was real. People had never seen anything like it!

It really was the hit of the party. I told Alisha that she wasn’t getting one of Anne’s cakes so it was a total surprise to her. It put her over the edge and she started balling she was so excited!

As per-usual, the cake was delicious as well!

Topsy Turvy Teapot Bridal Shower Cake

Sitting atop an ivory fondant table cloth is a white and royal blue porcelain teapot which marks the celebration of a bridal shower this past weekend. This topsy turvy bridal shower cake also includes a cute dog inside a teacup at the bottom tier.

Flavors included chocolate with oreos and cream buttercream. We delivered the cake to Pines Manor in Edison, NJ

Bridal Shower Dog Cake

Back in 2008 we created a bridal shower cake personalized with the brides Airedale Terrier. This cake took the same concept but this time we personalized the cake with the bride’s Boston terrier based on pictures she sent us. The gift box cake is covered in tiffany blue fondant and included chocolate cake with raspberry chambord buttercream and vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The cake was delivered to Red Bank, NJ.

San Fransisco was the destination for this bride’s honeymoon – so the bride celebrated with a honeymoon themed bridal shower. We included popular San Francisco landmarks including the golden gate bridge and the painted ladies houses as decorations. Along with the cake, we decorated sailboat, lighthouse and cookies in the shape of California.

The top of this 3 tier round bridal shower cake sits a the bride in a strapless beaded dress with cummerbund and a long skirt. She is holding a bouquet which matches the colors of the invitations. The top and bottom tiers is decorated in polka dots while the middle tier includes green fondant stripes. Whimsical flowers in orange, pink and darker pink decorate each tier.

Flavors included chocolate cake with oreos and cream peanut butter buttercream, vanilla with hazelnut and chocolate buttercream and red velvet with lemon cream cheese and raspberry chambord buttercream. We delivered the cake to Restaurant Serenade in Chatham, NJ.

Wedding Shower Stacked Gift Box Cakes

Hydrangea and white roses in light blue, white, navy and celadon highlight this 3 tiered square bridal shower gift box cake. The flowers on the cake were coordinated to match with the flowers at the shower.

Flavors included vanilla cake with hazelnut and chocolate buttercream, chocolate cake with raspberry chambord buttercream and our signature pink velvet cakewith vanilla buttercream. The cake was delivered to Cherry Valley Country Club in Garden City, NY.

We also included 45 hydrangea cookies each with a name tag and matching blue ribbon.

Beverly is getting married! To celebrate her upcoming nuptials, we had a PCB bridal luncheon at Cafe Metro in Denville, NJ this week. The cake was confetti cake (Bev’s favorite) filled with blackberry and meyer lemon filling. The cake featured white tulips, lots of ladybugs, and 2 love bugs Beverly loves ladybugs, and we love Beverly – so it seemed the perfect cake for her. Congratulations Beverly and Sam!!!

The theme of this bridal shower cupcake topper with cupcakes was sex and the city. The top of the cake includes the bride dressed in a hot pink dress and pink heels with a shopping bag and yorkie dog. The cupcakes have various different accessories including hot pink stilettos, cosmo glass, hot pink shopping bag and lipstick. Around the cake is a black city skyline cutout with silver windows. At the base of the tier is a we included hot pink crystlas with a black ribbon. Our small cupcake stand was included with the setup.

Flavors included coconut cake with chocolate buttercream, vanilla cake (dyed hot pink) with coconut buttercream and chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream.

The bride-to-be left us this wonderful comment. We can’t wait to do her next cake:

This 2 tiered bridal shower cake was created for my friend Kristen! The cake is decorated with damask patterned ivory fondant to mimic a bridal corset. The top of the cake features purple peonies and pink roses to match the bridal shower’s color scheme. The inside of the cake also matched the shower’s theme with alternating layers of pink and purple velvet with lemon cream cheese.
