Ocean Themed Wedding Cake

Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate the remaining warm days with summery wedding cakes like this 4 tier seashell cake.

Erin, the bride-to-be, approached us last September and told us she fell in love with our ocean themed wedding cakes. The couple was planning their wedding to be ocean/beach themed and loved the idea of using shells and starfish as the main theme of their wedding cake.

Happy to oblige, we incorporated seashells, starfish and pearls with subtle hints of silver, blue and green colors. The couple asked for chocolate with oreos and cream on the top two tiers, white cake with hazelnut on the third tier and chocolate with raspberry chambord on the last tier. We delivered the cake to Essex Fells Country Club in NJ.

LBI Beach Themed Wedding Cake

A seascape shore theme with muted white and light blue colors highlights this 3 tier ivory fondant wedding cake. A lighthouse, seashells, and starfish round out the beach theme. We reproduced the stamp from the wedding invitation on the top cake tier which reads “Long Beach Island August 31, 2008, NJ”. The flavors of the cake include chocolate cake with raspberry chambord filling, chocolate cake with oreos and cream filling and our signature pink velvet cake with lemon cream cheese filling.

We delivered this 3 tier wedding cake to the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Long Beach Island, NJ. Pale blue fondant with wavy white bands and two orange flowers shaped as fishes highlight the cake. The top tier is white cake with oreos and cream and the 2nd tier is white cake with key lime buttercream. The bottom tier is white cake with raspberry chambord.

The beach theme wedding is well represented in this wedding cake. It’s covered in pale blue fondant and decorated with white and gold seashells and sugar pearls. Each layer is lemon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry chambord buttercream.

We decorated this 4 tier cake with sugar paste seashells and iced it with periwinkle blue buttercream. Inside the cake is red velvet and marble cake with cream cheese and raspberry chambord fillings.

Chocolate cake with raspberry chambord filling with a St. Croix Carribean theme for the couple’s destination wedding. We also created Caribbean themed cookies for this event.

Sea Shell Cake

This cake was for a bridal shower. The wedding is taking place by the water, so they wanted the shower theme to incorporate seashells. The cake was a vanilla and chocolate marble cake w/chocolate filling. The shells are sugarpaste.
