French Themed Birthday Cake (2409)
Yokasta reached out to us back in February inquiring if we could collaborate with her to create a French-inspired birthday cake for her daughter Miranda’s 10th birthday.
For the celebration we provided an assortment of treats to coordinate with the theme and colors of the party. The two tier cake was the main centerpiece for the party. For the top tier we included a silver Eiffel tower surrounded with light pink hydrangea’s at the base. Black fondant with light pink polka dots and a pink bow decorate the top tier.
The next tier included thin black stripes with light pink fondant and a darker pink lid to match the dress on the party’s invitation. A black poodle silhouette sits prominently on the face of the tier.
Along with the cake we included 30 round cookie favors with edible images of the Eiffel tower. Each cookie was wrapped in clear bags and tied with a light pink ribbon. Cupcakes and macarons were also included to round out the assortment of sweets.
Happy Birthday Miranda!
Update: We were thrilled to receive this note on our Facebook Fan Page from Anny who recognized our cake at the party:
I was at Miranda’s birthday party and as soon as I saw the cake I knew it was a pink cake box creation. Gorgeous work as always.
Yokasta sent us this fantastic email. So happy the cake, cupcakes and cookies were a hit!
The cake and pastries exceeded my expectations. It was not only beautiful but delicious and fresh. –Exactly what I had in mind (just better!).
I didn’t get the chance to try the cupcakes or the macaroons but I am sure they were great as well. People ate everything!
The cookies were very soft and yummy.
I have already recommended Pink Box Cake to a lot of people. A total masterpiece!
