Garden Fairy Themed 3rd Birthday Cake (993)
Photographer Jody Gianni asked us to created this cake for her daughter Annabella’s third birthday party. Over the past 2 years, we’ve created a red carpet cake for her first birthday and a pink tutu cupcake stand for her second birthday.
For this cake, Jody sent us a photo of a castle cake to use as inspiration. We incorporated flowers, grass, mushrooms and fairies to complete the fairy/forest theme. The flavors included chocolate with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla cake with oreos and cream.
Jody left us this great email after the party:
Hi Anne!
You outdid yourself. I nearly fainted when I saw the cake. And I DID faint when I tasted it. The top layer was magnificent but the BOTTOM layer was OUT OF THIS WORLD. People anticipate my parties because they can’t wait to see what the cake will be all because of you! I will send you a high rez photo this coming week. I can’t thank you enough! I already saved you for my sister’s wedding shower in August and I know exactly what I want. When should I send that info? It is too early right?
xoxo,
Jody

What a gorgeous cake – this is surely setting the bar high for a 3rd birthday. You make some of the most beautiful cakes I have come across.
This is absolutely precious! It completely kicks the butt of the grocery store cake my son got for his third birthday!
