Enchanted Forest Sweet 16 Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Sweet 16 Cakes on Saturday, March 24th, 2007.This sweet 16 cake was created for an enchanted forest themed party. Its three tiers of white cake are filled with chocolate, raspberry, and oreos & cream filling. The tree was created out of sugar paste and a wire frame. Its face was sculpted out of chocolate fondant.
Sugar paste butterflies were adorned with edible glitter and crystals.
We received a wonderful letter from the family:
Dear Anne,There are no sufficient words that could ever thank you for the beautiful, stunning, unbelievable, enchanted forest cake. It was beyond our imagination!The catering hall employees (especially the baker and the chef) were speechless. Our guests thought it was fake, and everyone wanted to know who had the talent to make this breathtaking cake.Once again, there are no words we could ever find to express our gratitude and happiness that you brought to Samantha’s Sweet 16.We wish you luck and happiness with your new store, as we are quite sure you won’t need luck at all.
