Dress inspired white floral cascade wedding cake

This past weekend, my husband and I delivered this 5 tier wedding cake to Trump National in Bedminister NJ. The cake was decorating with cascading sugar flowers including white peonies, white phalaenopsis orchids, white spray roses, ivory garden roses, white hydrangea, white ranuculus and white callas. We used white and ivory colors with slight accents of yellows in the center to match with the brides flowers.

The cake tiers were covered in ivory fondant and included flower piping detail to coordinate with the dress and veil of the bride. Small piped pearls finished off the base of each tier.

Flavors and fillings included carrot with lemon cream cheese, pink champagne cake with raspberry buttercream, and vanilla cake with vanilla bean mousse and fresh raspberries.

After the wedding Katherine sent out a wonderful note to all her vendors and included a few photos. One of the surprises of the night were fireworks and we loved this picture and wanted to share it with everyone.

I want to personally thank everyone here receiving this email. You all have been an integral part of bring to life the wedding of Mark and my dreams!! I know all brides and grooms feel like their weddings are perfect (as they should be). But folks we knocked this event out of the park! Our ceremony and private times together were most important to me and the fire work surprise. After that it was hosting a kick ass party, with an incredible venue, impeccable food, flowers, entertainment and most of all service.

My direct, confident, and at times tenacious personality melted away on Saturday, and I became just a woman marrying her better half and partner- emotions were raw, real, and wonderful. Thanks you all again for doing what you do, your expertise was exemplified in pulling off our Day!!!!
