Topsy Turvy Pink Zebra Sweet 16 Cake

Claire celebrated her sweet 16 a few weekends ago at the Sheraton in Mahwah, NJ. The top tier of this 5 tier cake is decorated with hot pink fondant with black zebra print. A silvery and glittery scrolled ’16′ sits on top with hot pink feathers.

The next cake tier is covered in white fondant with Claire’s name written across in a font style inspired by the party’s invitation. Silver and hot pink polka dots round out the decorations of the tier.

Topsy Turvy Cake with White Bow Details

The third tier is highlighted with a white bow and tails similar to a previous zebra print birthday cake we created last year. The next tier, covered in white fondant, includes hot pink and silver scrolls details. Finally, the last tier of this towering cake is covered in pink fondant with black fondant zebra prints much like the first tier of the cake.

Flavors and fillings included pink velvet with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with vanilla buttercream, vanilla with chocolate buttercream, vanilla polka dot cake with chocolate buttercream and marble cake with chocolate buttercream.
