Christening Gown Cake
Back in January we created a Pram Baby Shower cake for a baby shower at the Ridgewood Country Club. The same client reached out to us again asking if we could create a confection for her baby boy’s christening.
Inspired by our party dress cake, she sent us a picture of her baby boy’s christening gown. We decided to recreate the christening gown on a dress form. The recreation included eyelet details, little booties and a cascading blue ribbon. Inside the cake was almond cake with amaretto filling.
We received wonderful feedback from the baby boy’s mother:
Anne - what can I say? The cake was outrageous!!! I absolutely loved it and so did all of my guests. You’ve done it once again, you’ve taken this little idea in my head and created a gorgeous cake to mimic it and it was, once again, spectacular.
