Pink Ombré Wedding Cake

This past weekend we had the pleasure of participating in the Country Club Bride Seasonal Wedding Showcase at the beautiful TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ.

We created this pink ombré wedding cake for the event. The cake included six tiers of varying heights along with several bouquets of included calla lilies, tulips, roses, peonies and hydrangea.

We hope to do more pink ombré wedding cakes this year!  An alternative option for brides that like the pink ombré theme is our set of pink ombré wedding cake stands.

Green Hydrangea Wedding Cake

We had the opportunity to deliver another cake to the beautiful Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ this weekend.

The 4 tier round wedding cake was decorated in green hydrangea which was coordinated with the bride’s bouquet. The base of each tier was covered in a black fondant band with white piped pearls.

The bride and groom provided a crystal monogram “S” for the top of the cake. Flavors and fillings included chocolate with raspberry chambord and vanilla buttercream, pink velvet with vanilla buttercream, vanilla with vanilla buttercream, oreos and cream buttercream with chocolate buttercream.

Flower Wedding Cake

This week we worked nonstop to create this 5 tier round wedding cake for a wedding at The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ. Of all the cakes we’ve done, this cake may have had the largest number of sugar flowers. Flowers included orchids, callas, hydrangea and roses in mostly white with some touches of green.

The entire cake was covered with ivory fondant and thin white bands around each tier. White damask stencil and damask patterns highlight the remaining decorations.

Flavors and fillings included vanilla with cannoli with chips, chocolate with chocolate mousse and red velvet with cream cheese.

Crystal Wedding Cake

This towering 5 tiered wedding cake was delivered to The Ashford Estate in Allentown, NJ. The top of the cake includes a crystal topper provided by the client. The tiers are decorated in black lace piping and hanging crystals.

Another unique feature of this wedding cake are the varying shapes of the white tiers which included round, square and hexagonal shapes with separators.

Flavors and fillings included alternating layers of pink velvet with lemon cream cheese and raspberry chambord buttercream and chocolate with oreos and cream buttercream.

Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding Cake

Nancy reached out to us back in April, asking for a topsy turvy styled wedding cake in the theme of Nightmare Before Christmas for her wedding at the Rebar in Brooklyn NY. Her wedding colors were black with hints of purple and red.

We ended up creating this 4 tiered flared topsy turvy cake with varying shades of purple, black and red. The top of the cake includes a topper with the main characters from the movie and was provided by the bride and groom. The topper sits atop a black swirled hill with a red moon in the background. Small pumpkins dot the base of the hill along with black bats. Along the remaining tiers additional pumpkins, bats and skulls round out the remaining decorations.

Flavors and fillings included carrot with hazelnut buttercream, vanilla with raspberry chambord buttercream, chocolate with peanut butter buttercream and red velvet with vanilla buttercream.

Cascading Pink Dogwood Wedding Cake

This weekend we visited Frank Anthony’s restaurant in Verona to deliver this 3 tier pink dogwood wedding cake. The cake is decorated in quilted ivory fondant with small piped pearls around the base of each tier

The entire cake was red velvet with 2 layers of cream cheese and 1 layer of raspberry chambord buttercream.

Damask Invitation Inspired Wedding Cake

This weekend, at the beautiful Inn at Millrace Pond in Hope NJ we delivered this 3 tier wedding cake. The design of the cake was coordinated to match the color theme of the couple’s invitation. We used a deep red band with a thinner brown stripe in the center and damask stencil on the middle tier to match the key design elements from the invitation. The entire cake was red velvet with lemon cream cheese filling.

Wedding cake with Doggy

The highlight of this asymmetrically stacked 4 tier wedding cake is the small sculpted beagle named Buddy taking a bite out of the cake. Buddy is looking over slyly at the cake as a small amount of icing and cake rests on his tongue.

White pumpkins, orange, red, and yellow bittersweet berries and cascading fall leaves highlight the rest of the cakes decorations. The entire cake is covered in ivory fondant with shimmery deep red bands around the base of each tier.

Flavors and fillings matched the cakes fall theme and included apple spice with caramel buttercream and chocolate with raspberry chambord and chocolate. We delivered the cake to the Orange Law Country Club in South Orange, NJ.

Capturing Buddy’s essence was important to us and the client. We worked in several of Buddy’s unique features including his little brown spots that dot the front of his two paws. Also we made sure to include the appropriate amount of the dog’s characteristic white fur to appropriately capture Buddy’s wise old age.

Dogwood Wedding Cake

Inspired in part by your 4 tier dogwood wedding cake, this smaller 3 tier version includes brown dogwood branches with light pink to white blossoms cascading down the tier.  Each tier is covered in a soft light butter yellow fondant with a light pink fondant band.

The entire cake was vanilla with oreos and cream buttercream.  We delivered the cake to the Chateau Hawthorne in Warwick, NY.

Wedding Cupcake Stand

This wedding cupcake stand with topper was inspired by a photo sent by the bride. Unfortunately we do not have original credit for the topper design and welcome any help from our fans to identify the original artist.

The topper is covered in light pink fondant and covered with ivory paneling. The front of the topper is highlighted with a pink filigree cutout design.

Over 200 cupcakes were included with lace filigree holders. Flavors and fillings included red velvet with vanilla buttercream and vanilla with vanilla buttercream. We delivered the stand, cupcakes and topper cake to studio 450 in Manhattan.
