Baby Shower Cupcakes & Cookies

We created this package of cookies, cupcakes and cake topper for my friend Kim’s Baby Shower in Pennsylvania. The topper includes Kim perched on top wearing a strapless dress. Next to her was a shopping bag dripping with both baby girl and boy clothes…she doesn’t know what she’s having …but loves baby clothes shopping ! I really can’t blame her – they are so cute ! The cake flavor was coconut with coconut and chocolate filling.

Along with the topper, we included our small cupcake stand and 40 cupcakes with blue and pink flower cutouts and 40 onesie cookies.

Congrats Kim – I can’t wait to meet your little one…I know he or she will be very well dressed

The bride’s dog and the groom’s dog were the inspiration for this set of cupcakes and cookies we created for a bridal shower. The cupcakes include the bride’s boston terrier and the groom’s beagle.

While we may be known for our decorated cakes we also create a lot of cookies at Pink Cake Box. However, we don’t always have time to post photos of them on our blog.

So for this post, I’ve created a few collages for some of the cookies we’ve recently created. I’ve grouped them into three areas – Baby Shower Cookies, Make-up Kit Cookies and Breakfast Medley Cookies. Enjoy!

Scrabble Themed Cupcakes

Back in November we created a wedding cake themed off of the popular scrabble game. Carrying that theme forward, this week we created a scrabble themed set of cupcakes, cookies and a topper cake for a bridal shower in Mendham, NJ. The cupcake flavors alternated between white, chocolate and red velvet cake with raspberry chambord, strawberry and vanilla fillings.

Our cookie, cupcake and topper cake combination is becoming popular for weddings, showers and dhristenings. For this set, we created cross cookies, cross topped cupcakes and a white and pink topper cake. Each cookie was wrapped with cellophane and a pink bow. The topper cake was adorned with a pink fondant bow, swiss dots and a pink polka dotted cross. For the event, we included our 5 tier cupcake stand to display the cupcakes and topper cake.

The cupcake flavors included vanilla cake with strawberry frosting and chocolate cake with raspberry chambord frosting. The top cake was red velvet cake with vanilla filling.
