Thanks for stopping by Kathy I use a bench scrapper to achieve the sharp edges. Check out the forums at Baking with Rose Levy Bernabaum for more info. Her Cake Bible book is a must have for any cake decorator

This is beautiful! Every single one of these cakes is soo perfect…If I made such a cake I could never cut it!
I came across this site by accident, I’m so glad I did, it’s amazing I really enjoy making birthday cakes for my friends but now I’m stuck again as to what I should do!
Can I ask..? Do you have any tips for cutting the icing so neatly and placing it on the cake..?
Any advice would be brilliant.
It would be ABSOLUTELY amazing to make such cool cakes.
