Brides Magazine – Miniature Wedding Cakes
Posted to All Pastries, Press, Wedding Cakes on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009.Kim from Brides magazine contacted us back in March asking us if we’d be interested in creating 3 miniature cakes airbrushed to match a gorgeous ombre chiffon textile with shades of tangerine and magenta. The idea was that the three cakes’ colors when lined up side-by-side should mirror the color progression on the chiffon:

I totally gasped when I saw her creations for the first time—and I think you will too when you pick up this issue of the magazine. For a small wedding, having miniature cakes—one for each guest, can be a really fun idea! Ingenious idea and great for a modern wedding, it is difficult to tell exactly how big they are?
It is difficult. They were only 6 inches high.
