Bridal Shower Gift Box Cake

This cake was for a bridal shower. It incorporates the bride’s colors of lavender and white. The cake is frosted in vanilla buttercream and decorated with a sugar paste bow.

I was at this bridal shower that was for my childhood friend, Lauren, and this cake was absolutely fabulous! Everyone thought it was a real present, and once they all had a piece, everybody raved about how great it tasted. Not only did Anne make this beautiful cake, but she also made gorgeous (and delicious) cookies that were handed out as the party favor. Anne, both the cookies and the cake were a big hit!
