Bridal Shower Celebration Cake

Here’s an amazing letter from our customer describing a recent bridal shower cake we created:

A special note of thanks!

Until I found you guys at the PCB I never thought that cake, other than from a box, could be good. The cakes I ate out at restaurants were okay but they lacked something big…love. The cake that you made for Steph’s bridal shower was superb! We brought the cake up the stairs and the waiters looked at us like “what is in there?” they opened up the box and all I heard was “Wow, that is so cool!”. They took the cake out of the box and set it on the table and we stared and marveled at how you captured the dog’s personalities without having met them. The fact that Mangus had splashed Rex and Rex looked a little like “what the heck?” was perfect and Cash would definitely approve of being under a tree on a warm blanket!

A few moments later the hostess, the event planner for the restaurant, and three other servers came up and hovered around the cake. All I heard was “look at that…wow look at that…so much detail…look at the splashes of water…look at the red blanket…are those their initials on the tree that is awesome!”. Scott came up with his parents and we showed him the cake and he beamed from ear to ear. He looked at me and said “this was a great touch Jess Steph will love it, I love it!”.

When the guests arrived and saw the cake they were so impressed at the detail and the artwork. They asked if they were actually going to eat it! When I told them what was in it they all offered to forgo dinner and just eat cake! Now came the eating it part! They sliced is so that everyone got both kinds of cake (red velvet w/cc filling and van cake w/Oreo). People couldn’t stop talking about it, all I hear was adjectives! Fabulous, great, awesome, unbelievable…the list went on.

So, I thank you for putting love into this cake. Thank you for making the day so special for all of us. People are gonna FREAK OUT when they find out that they get to have your cake again!!!
