Benny’s Fiftieth Birthday Hat Box Cake

Whether you have a fedora, a straw hat, a top hat, or a western hat, a hat box is a perfect accessory to keep your hat in mint condition.

For Benny’s 50th birthday, we created a hat box birthday cake inspired by a cake we created last year. The top tier is decorated in white fondant with black stripes.  The top of the lid is decorated with white and black details along with a gold tassel.

The second tier is covered in lavender fondant with gold teardrop details and gold hanging jewels.  Cascanding flowers with dragonflies top off the cakes decorations.

Flavors and fillings included red velvet with vanilla buttercream and vanilla with strawberry buttercream.
