The other chefs were being reprimanded during the competition (by the judges in the commentary) for taking over the whole design from the brides, but in the end, the judges voted towards the typical wedding cake. I thought the judging was unfair, and I felt so badly for you since your "client" was the only one who had her design carried through! Trying to bring that design to life was such a tough challenge, but your dedication to the competition and its expectations are commendable! (Unlike the others who totally created what they had decided BEFORE they even arrived!) I would have voted for you for staying true to the main focus of the competition. Good luck on future shows....please don't let this one event bring you down. Dont worry you did soo well. If one of your personal assistants would have been there instead you def would have won. You were also the only one who actually tried to do what the client wanted and not what you wanted. I can't find screenshots of any of them and I'm looking to get my wedding cake done...and really loved some of the concepts including yours Anne. I also liked the cake that was the final cake.
